Choose a policy intervention to support improving population health in a jurisdiction that has not enacted that intervention. Ensure you write about a policy, not a law. The main difference between legislation and policy is that policy is a course of action proposed or adopted by an organization or individual in order to achieve rational goals, whereas legislation is laws made by the government. For example, an organization such as a retail store may require employees to wear masks indoors. A law would be a state mandate for all people to wear masks indoors. A company, such as a taxi company, may have a policy that employees must have drug tests done while the government may have created a law that all airline pilots are required to have periodic and random drug testing done.
