1) Two boxes of equal mass M, are placed one on top of each other. In case 1 an applied force acts on box B while A is fixed to a wall by a rope. In case 2 an applied force acts on box A while box B is fixed to the wall by a rope. All surfaces have a coefficient of kinetic friction equal to 1/3 and a coefficient of static friction equal to 1/2. (a) Discover an expression in terms of mass M and the acceleration of gravity g, for the ration( case 1 over case 2) of applied force required to just get one of the boxes to slide. (b) If each box weighs 1.50N, what is ratio of the applied force required to slide one of boxes at a constant speed relative to the other. 


2) When walking your arms swing during roughly an 8 of a circle in about 0.50s. Assume the speed of the arm is constant and that the arm's length is 50cm. What percentage greater is force from the vessels on the blood when arm is swinging from as it is a stationary?
