Rotana Hotel Management Corporation (Rotana) was founded in 1992, by a partnership between Nasser Al Nowais and Selim El Zyr, who were joined few years later by Nael Hashweh and Imad Elias. Operating as Rotana, it opened its ?rst property in Abu Dhabi in 1993 and is today one of the leading hotel management companies within the Middle East and North Africa regions. Rotana has a very good understanding of Middle East culture combined with over 35 years of international experience in the service industry. Rotana's expansion plans have seen the company grow from two properties in 1993 to a total of 70 by 2014. The company aims to have a Rotana managed property in all major cities throughout the Middle East and North Africa within the next few years. It aims to provide its guests with high-quality food and drink, a safe and excellent environment, and a place to socialize and discuss business. Rotana is managed by a set of values represented by the word LIFE: long-term, innovative, friendly, and ethical. Rotana is committed to creating and nurturing lifelong relationships with its employees, creating new ways to meet their individual needs, and treating them with the utmost respect. For these employees, Rotana:
