In quantum mechanics, you will work with the following differential equation:

u"+(2n+1-x^2)u = 0

Show that the substitution u(x)= e^((-x^2)/2))*y(x) gives the following differential equation for y(x):

y"-2xy'+2ny=0

This is know as Hermite's equation.
