Can you please help me develop a research question using gender and another categorical variable associated to adhd that could be address using the chi-square method?

Specify the independent and dependent variables that would be studied along with the research question, the statistical null and alternative hypotheses, an explanation of why the test is appropriate, and why a parametric procedure, such as correlation or ANOVA, would not be appropriate. Also could you please note the measure of effect size that would be used and an explanation of what it would tell you?
