Purpose:

The purpose of this task is to provide you with an opportunity to reflect upon your learning so far this semester, and to apply it to a real-world scenario related to the measurement of employee engagement.

Instructions:

Part A

Below you will find ten Human Resources Management topics for helping employers gauge the level of employee engagement across the organization.  For each topic, create an appropriate survey question related to the topic that you would recommend employees be asked to help an organization determine overall employee satisfaction and engagement.  Please note your questions must be specific to one aspect of the topic; you may not ask "overall, what is your level of satisfaction with ..." type questions.

Here is a sample question for the topic of Employee Orientation:

Develop a rating scale (no less than five rating levels) for employees to use when responding to your survey questions noted above from low (level 1) to high (level 5).  Ensure your rating scale works for each of your questions by reading your questions out loud, then attempting to respond as if you were an actual employee of the company conducting the survey.
