Create a discussion response on Quantitative researchers aim to determine the characteristics , variability and connections to the world. This information can then be used to measure and count phenomenon and determine its relationship to other phenomenon. One area I'd propose to research is the incidence of pressure ulcers and wounds in hospital patient populations. I'd collect research through a variety of ways. Ways to research can include studying patient variables such as gender, weight, and ages. Additionally, observations can be made about patient quality of care, such as how often are nurses turning patients. Questionnaires can also be used to gather evidence. Questionnaires can be used to gather evidence for risk factors that can influence a patients risk for pressure ulcers such as patient hygiene routines, patient mobility, is this patient incontinent, what type of nutrition is the patient receiving and actually eating, among other questions. The aim of quantitative research is to create knowledge about a specified population of people. Simple random sampling may aid to gather more information about the incidence of pressure ulcers and wounds.
