Question 

The quality improvement project of fall prevention in nursing homes by hourly rounding uses the Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) methodology to teach skilled nursing facility staff about deliberate hourly rounding to minimize falls among older persons. (Dang et al., 2021). The evidence is rigorously assessed and assembled throughout translation to determine its relevance and usefulness. The Johns Hopkins Nursing EBP approach meets the project's aim of deliberate hourly rounds to prevent older adults from falling. This intervention may be tested against relevant studies on fall prevention and deliberate hourly rounding during the discovery phase (Dang et al., 2021). In the translation step, the evidence may be critically assessed and combined to determine its validity, reliability, and usefulness in skilled care facilities. This will ensure that the deliberate hourly rounding intervention is evidence-based and follows the latest fall prevention best practices (Dang et al., 2021). The Johns Hopkins Nursing EBP model's evidence-based practice recommendations may be implemented by training staff about deliberate hourly rounding and how it helps prevent patient falls during integration.
