He is married and has three young children. Glen is looking for an investment that will allow him to continue to entertain his clients and also provide an outlet for spending more time with his family and friends. He first considers buying season tickets to a professional sports team, which is reasonably priced but limits the number of people who can participate in his outings. He next considers purchasing a share in a hunting lodge in the mountains, where he could entertain as many people as he wants during certain weeks of the year, but is not very close to home. Glen's wife suggests they purchase a small cruising boat, which will hold up to 12 people, has a kitchen and small state room for overnight trips but is still elegant enough for a client dinner. It is safe for the children and can be kept near their home. Glen purchases the boat after considering the three options.
