Course Description
This course will examine management theory and functions, leadership, decision making, organizations as systems and organizational structure and design. Theory will be applied to management problems and issues through case studies. The role of the manager as a planner, organizer, leader, and controller will also be discussed.
Writing Intensive (WI) Course
This course is a designated Writing Intensive Course. For 100 and 200 level courses, students must submit at least ten pages of writing throughout the course. Writing components (ie. grammar, spelling, apa in-text citations, reference lists, etc.) will make up at least 25% of the grade for the writing assignment. At least 20% of the final grade in the WI course will be based on writing assignments. For this course, requirements will be accomplished through the completion of the comprehensive final projects.
