a.What determines whether policy is enacted or not?
b.Who holds the power and authority to make and change public policy?

Your initial post should be at least 250 words in length. Support your points with scholarly references, appropriate citations, and full references at the conclusion of your post. Cite your sources in APA format. Review several of your classmates' posts, and then, provide a substantive response to at least two of your classmates by Day 7. What, if any, additional information would you add to their comments regarding public policy?

2.Republic or Democracy? "...and to the republic for which we stand..."

Review the Declaration of Independence and the Pledge of Allegiance. Then, discuss republicanism and democracy in U.S. government. Explain what this means in regards to public policy, social issues and its effectiveness and efficiency.
