Question

We have tended to conceptualize clients who "resist" services as a "problem," or when clients do not want to accept therapy services we pathologize them more. What are some reasons why a client(s) might "resist" services or some part of the therapeutic work? Think about this from a strength-based perspective and not a pathological one.
