Part 1: After reading about various leadership styles, provide specific examples from personal experiences for each style of leadership. After taking the leadership styles survey, discuss personal survey results with an example of when you personally demonstrated that style of leadership. If you cannot think of a time you demonstrated that style of leadership, then provide an appropriate scenario of when you could have demonstrated that style of leadership or when you might possibly demonstrate that style of leadership. 300 words!

Part 2: Leadership Style Comparison Chart

Create a comparison chart of leadership styles (autocratic, transformational, transactional, laissez-faire, democratic, situational). A comparison chart is a chart that draws a comparison between two or more items on different parameters. The parameters are determined by trends found in the required readings and may differ among students. Below is a suggested format for a comparison chart, but students are welcome to create the comparison chart using any format they deem appropriate.

Part 3: Annotated Bibliography: Check 1

Each week students will add to an ongoing annotated bibliography, which uses APA style formatting. An annotated bibliography is a list of citations followed by a brief paragraph (around 150 words) that provides a description and a critique of the content. The purpose of an annotated bibliography is to demonstrate the relevance and accuracy of the citations. This is an ongoing assignment and should include all course required readings, videos, and at least one article (personal source) on teacher leadership per week that students find on their own. This assignment is to make sure students understand the annotated bibliography, the formatting is correct, the written portion provides both description and critique, and the selected personal source for that week is appropriate.
