Question

A 62-year-old client seeing their primary care provider due to increased manifestations of dizziness, nausea, headaches and a recent fall. One-month earlier the client had been hospitalized for severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The client reports that the episodes of dizziness, feelings of nausea, headaches are daily lasting for hours. In addition, there is a buzzing in the left ear which is almost constant. The states that they are spending 'most of the day' in bed so that the room does not spin. The client would like the "buzzing' to stop it is like "having a hive of bees in my head - it is making me anxious." The client began to experience episodes of dizziness in their 50's which lasted only for a short period of time. The client's partner has accompanied them to the appointment.
