Question: Imagine that you are working for a community services organisation that provides services to a wide range of clients, many of whom are elderly individuals. You routinely refer many of these clients to one of your partnering organisations, United Care. Although clients report positive feedback about the services offered by United Care, some of your elderly clients have stated that they sometimes find it difficult to access the organisation's buildings. Many of them use mobility aids (e.g. walker frames, wheelchairs), however, the front entrance has stairs and no ramps available, and the building does not have any other disabled facilities (e.g. disabled toilets). Additionally, some elderly clients have mentioned that United Care's information and written materials can be difficult for them to read, as they are often printed in small font or only made available on the organisation's website and many of the elderly client don't know how to use the internet). Consequently, many of these elderly clients cannot access the organisation's written information.
