Please answer the questions on paragraph

You have joined an organization as a mid-level supervisor. You find that your organization is very diverse, but there are certain parts of the organization that seem to be less diverse than others. Some of the interactions between groups are not ideal and you suspect there may be some bias involved. Though you know there is some stereotyping, you are not aware of any prejudice or scapegoating. You want to make sure your team is aware of the differences and how to recognize them.

As you evaluate staff and their ability to comply, you realize that perceptions could contribute to your own bias. Name and discuss at least two perceptual biases you need to be careful to avoid?

As you try to understand the behaviors of team members you recall from your CMGT 572 class a discussion about Attribution Theory. Explain the three areas of the attribution process that can help understand the reason for behavior.

As you try to utilize attribution theory you also need to be a ware of attribution bias. Name and discuss the two forms of attribution bias.

You take on a new position that promises to be very challenging. The group you will manage is known to have poor morale, inconsistent performance, high level of turnover and little commitment. You were hired because you expressed confidence in being able to turn this group around.

Motivation is a factor. What do you know about motivation that will help you to assess and provide motivation for your subordinates – state relative theories where appropriate?
