Assignment - Project Plan

Description - This project targets to provide a free online platform for people to share their travel experience and memories, such as travel locations, stories, weather, and expenses, with the other users in the format of journals, pictures, or videos. Users would be able to post by locations, and they could also see other users' posts under the same location. When they are making a new post, they can enter in a specific location, and the system will search this location in Google Map and provide a map in the post for other people to better make sense of where this place is. This platform provides a great opportunity for people to better prepare for their future trips and to document their precious moments during a travel.

Design

1. The project uses Java language in the Spring MVC format and Maven structure. It uses HTML for view and MySQL for the database.

2. Functions:

a. Create profile

b. Login

c. Edit profile

d. Post journal/picture/video

e. Check weather at a location

f. Comment on posts

g. View posts by locations

h. View comments by posts

i. Delete/edit posts

j. Delete/edit comments

k. Logout
