Question: Communication and collaboration in healthcare are paramount when dealing with engagement in any healthcare setting. As such, communication, whether it be non-verbal, or verbal is necessary to generate some type of feedback between all parties involved. In healthcare settings, how should communicative engagement materialize between nurse-to-nurse; nurse-to-patient; nurse-to-family; nurse to the multidisciplinary team (doctors, pharmacy, respiratory therapist, dietary, etc.?) Provide both pros and cons to communicative and collaborative engagement.
