Assignment: Principles of Marketing

Constructing the argument:

Consider your answer an argument. You are trying to convince me that your answer is compelling, comprehensive, and worth the full points. While this is not a writing course, you will construct a more compelling argument if you keep the following in mind.

1. Your answer should include multiple paragraphs, each with its own key point. Using multiple paragraphs makes it easier for your reader to understand each point you make. Use the first paragraph to frame your answer, providing an overview of the argument that is to follow. Use the last paragraph to summarize the key points in your argument. End the answer with a strong final impression.

2. Correct grammar and spelling add credibility to your argument.

3. Sometimes writing that we think is clear is difficult for others to read and/or understand. Your argument will not be compelling if your reader struggles to understand your key points. If you read your writing out loud you will hear it as others will likely read it. You will hear sentences that are too long or confusing. Rewrite these sentences.

Define terms:

The questions ask you to apply theories and concepts that you use in your answer. With each answer you are demonstrating that you fully understand each concept. Therefore, even if not explicitly asked in the question, please define each sales term that you use
