Question: Provide an original definition of consumer psychology (*not consumer behavior as in the first exam on this). In light of your definition, what do you see as one or more strength of viewing consumer behavior through the lens of psychology? What might Galloway, Solomon, Turkle, Veblen, or Dichter say about viewing consumer behavior through the lens of psychology? In light of your definition, what would be one or more major aspect of your understanding of consumer psychology that has changed since originally reading his Ch. 1 at the beginning of the semester (please do not say nothing has changed-add something new)? Provide one or more example of consumer psychology as it influences a consumption community you would identify yourself as being a participant (5). How does the consumer's psychic perspective in this particular community differ from that of the marketer (7)? For instance, identify an area where you feel marketers are not understanding the psychology of their target consumers as well as they could. How might you suggest they change their marketing strategy as consumer psychology influences consumer behavior? Explain.
