1. Choose an ethical issue you want to put down about. It could be from your own life, something in the news, or something about which you're passionate. In this section, you'll briefly present the ethical issue you'll be exploring.

2. Choose one of the ethical philosophers ( Aristotle ). Apply this philosopher's ideas to the ethical issue you've chosen. Tell me what they might have said about the issue. How do their ideas apply? What stance might they have taken on the issue? Why? For this section, I'm looking for you to make a good-faith application of their ideas to an ethical issue. You might be unsure what exactly they would have said. That is fine. I'm not looking for you to research what philosopher X said about issue Y. Rather, I'm looking for you to take the ideas of philosopher X and tell me how they apply to issue Y. Pretend you are their disciple and are trying to apply their ideas to an issue they were unaware of during their lifetime.

3. Critically assess your chosen philosopher's approach to your chosen ethical issue. What is their best argument? What is their worst? In what ways are they correct? In what ways is incorrect? Provide an evaluation and critique of their stance on the issue.
