Overview: For your second writing assignment, you are to create a Project Proposal to propose a new product, service, or policy for Alfaisal University. Keep in mind that a proposal is an offer to carry out research or to provide a product or service. Describe a problem at Alfaisal University and propose a solution that could improve some aspect of university life for students, faculty, and/or staff.
Your proposal must have the following sections:
Cover Page - Your project proposal's cover page should include a project title, name of lead organization, date and place of project preparation, and name of agency to whom proposal will be sent.
Project Justification and Methodology - Explain the need for your project. Provide a problem as well as a brief summary of your proposed approach (methodology).
Project Goal and Objectives - Write one goal and make sure that it's clear how the goal benefits the target group (and hopefully also the whole community). You should have at least 2 concrete objectives that follow the SMART guidelines.
Project Activities - Provide an activity plan that explains steps involved in each activity as well as milestones that measure progress toward objectives. Include enough explanation that it's clear how each activity relates to other activities and to objectives.
Project Implementation Timeline - Provide an estimated timeline for your project's completion. This may be a Gantt chart or another kind of timelines.
Human, Material and Financial Resources - What is needed to complete this project? Provide a complete mock budget, a description of necessary staff and task allocation, and a description of other required materials.
