Mohamed Elnahal - Need: Fairfax County, VA does not have enough public lake docks for many activities, but especially for fishing. In the last couple of years fishing has been a growing sport/activity for people of all ages, due to the pandemic, people started picking up fishing because it's an activity that you could do by yourself without the risk of catching covid. Therefore, Fairfax County plans to build more public lake docs to meet the increasing demand of fishing and community needs.
Objective - The Fairfax County Park Authority plans to build 6 new and accessible friendly lake docks by the year of 2024 to meet the increasing demand of fishing in the community.
