Assignment: Integrated Project Management Project

1. Go to the projectstakeholder Web site and analyze one of the case studies found on the Web site that you find interesting (each case study is a blog entry). The case should address "key stakeholder issues" that we have studied this week.

2. Use the following format to write your case study analysis:

a. Provide a brief summary listing the key facts in the case.

b. Identify key issues and identify one problem you wish to resolve in your analysis. The problem statement should be clear and concise. A problem statement is typically no more than one sentence in length.

c. List recommended solutions or strategies to resolve the problem. Be sure to include the who, what, why, when, where and how of each solution or strategy you propose.

d. Analyze each recommended solution or strategy by linking information from course materials and outside research sources. List the pros and cons of each solution. Choose the best solution or strategy and list an explanation why it is the best choice. The reasons for your choice should be clearly linked to your analysis. Be sure to use APA format to cite your sources.

e. Write a conclusion that addresses the following question. What do these cases suggest about the importance of assessing stakeholder expectations for a project before it has begun its development process? In other words, what are the risks of waiting to address stakeholder concerns until after a project has begun.

f. Engagement Activities: Submit a brief summary of the case, your problem statement, and proposed solution to the Discussion Board. Comment on at least two other case studies summaries submitted by your classmates.
