Protecting a business to express opinions and ideas as well as to advertise is essential for any business. This allows them to effectively communicate with workers and those consumers who are interested in their services. Just recently teachers went on strike and expressed their concerns with the school district. A business could also have a boycott out in front of their business when customers think that some unfair practices are going on. I like that this amendment forbids Congress from promoting one religion, and people are allowed to peacefully assemble. The freedom is speech is a little different when it comes to private schools or a private business. A student can be suspended and a person can be fired for expressing political views.
