CTO of Polaroid Corporation: "What is the point in being complacent with a sub-optimal quasicarbon-neutral solution at a time when virtually complete carbon-neutral solutions are within our reach and few phenomenally carbon-negative solutions are on the horizon? Moreover, the socalled renewable energy options still depend on fossil fuels for the manufacturing, transportation and periodic maintenance of related equipment. In such a scenario, how can these options be called as renewable energy alternatives given their high dependence on fossil fuels?"
