Do global corporations need to be accountable for ethical practices when considering their workplace operations?

Background

Business Ethics is knowing what is right versus wrong in the workplace. Attention to business ethics is critical during times of fundamental change and sensitizes leaders and staff to how they should act in various situations. The focus on corporate responsibility is becoming more important to consumers in a global environment.

Nike Sweatshops: Behind the Swoosh is a documentary for exploring the sweatshop issue. Using Nike as a case study, the film documents firsthand the widespread and oppressive and exploitative labor practices in the developing world.

The First Task

The task is to watch a documentary demonstrating a global company's product production. The documentary shows the manufacturing facilities, working conditions, living arrangements, wages, and overall standard of living.
