Assessment description
Assessment tasks 1, 2 and 3 comprise an holistic assessment in which candidates work in simulated work teams to research a proposal for a performance improvement initiative, present the proposal, incorporate feedback, plan and implement the initiative in the form of a performance management role-play and then produce a written reflection critiquing their own performance.
Assessment for this unit will comprise several tasks based on the following scenario.
Your organisation's Human Resources Manager has asked that you propose a performance improvement initiative for the organisation.
You have proposed the performance initiative to stakeholders and received feedback.
Now you must incorporate feedback into your performance initiative and implement the initiative.
Several employees have performance problems that you now need to identify and address.
Follow the process you have determined in consultation with your workgroup to address these performance issues.
Ensure you have anticipated possible conflicts and devised contingency planning to overcome conflict constructively.
In this Assessment Task, candidates work within teams to incorporate feedback into performance improvement initiatives, refine plans and implement the initiative in the form of a performance management role-play.
