In the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People(NAACP) press release, article, they argue about environmental pollution and health problems because of coal burning power plants. Firstly, it describes that Americans who live near coal-fired power plants are poorer than the others of the American population and thirty-nine percent of the people are a particular race. Also, NAACP tried to spread, the government and politicians to switch to safety and cleaner energy sources to save environment where is less harmless to the people and climate. Finally, the coal plants produce a host of pollutants, which not only occurred as global climate changed but also have local impacts. The emissions can cause variable diseases, which can lead to premature death.
