Assume you decide to make a "construct" by placing the promoter region from the Trp operon upstream of the coding region for the enzymes responsible for lactose metabolism. You then put this DNA construct into bacteria. Explain whether transcription from you construct would be active if you grew the bacteria in the following conditions. Assume all repressor and activator proteins are present.

Media with no glucose, no lactose, and no tryptophan (ON or OFF)

Media with both glucose and lactose, but no trypotophan (ON or OFF)

Mediat with tryptophan, but no glucose nor lactose (ON or OFF)

Media with glucose, lactose and tryptophan (ON or OFF)
