Tina is a deputy manager in a large PR firm. She tries to understand why John, who worked so well as an intern and was promoted to an assistant in finance, seems to be so negative and is constantly making mistakes. She assigns him to a project she is working on so that she can observe him more closely. Based on her observations, she thinks that he is not satisfied with the amount of money he makes. However, he is actually having trouble with his fiance. Why does Tina make the wrong conclusion? Because she used intuitive guesses in order to understand John's behavior. Because she didn't observe him from a distance in order to remain objective. Because she expected too much from somebody who had just been promoted. Because she did not spend a sufficient amount of time on observing John.
