In our video lecture this week, I provide you with information on one of the Wars of Religion, and suggest that, perhaps, despite its title as a "War of Religion" other motivations may have played a stronger role in the war's origin and spread than fighting over faith. Is it accurate to see the Thirty Years' War as a true "war of religion"? What other factors were involved, and which factors (religious or secular) were most significant to the proliferation and duration of the conflict? Provide reasons and examples for your answer.
