Project safety Monitoring System for Elderly
what I came up with to use for this project is:
room temperature sensor body temperature sensor
heart rate sensor
fall detection
motion sensor and all of these sensors
have to be controlled by a microcontroller (arduino ) via an app (android preferably)
I've spent two days trying to come up with a circuit that can connect all of these sensors to the arduino and then send data through a gsm shield to a mobile phone (SMS) when [the room temperature, body temperature, heart rate, fall or rise above/below certain limit, and if the "elderly leave their room" (motion sensor), or fall from bed "fall detection"]
just need to know what would be an appropriate circuit for this project
and is the arduino a correct choice to go with this project or I need to use a different microcontroller ?
a) At what time does the peak value of the AC signal occure b) What is the frequency,f,of the AC signal c) What is the period,T,of the AC signal d) At what time does the negitve peak value of the AC signal occur
Two transistors, fabricated with the same technology but having different junction areas, when operated at a base-emitter voltage of 0.72 V, have collector currents of 0.2 mA and 12 mA. Find Is for each device.
Calculate the reactive power and the current supplied to the load and sketch a phasor diagram for this load condition, showing all circuit voltages and currents.
You have a computer with a 1 GHz processor (that executes each instruction in one clock cycle) and a memory system that always takes 50ns to access one word. How long does it take to execute the instruction a = b + c
Low-cost audio power amplifiers often avoid direct coupling of the loudspeaker to the output stage because any resulting dc bias current in the speaker can use up (and thereby waste) its limited mechanical dynamic range.
A conducting bar of length l rotates about one end in a uniform magnetic field at a frequency of ω rad/sec. Determine the potential difference between the two ends using (a) Faraday's law of induction.
the operation of an induction machine here used as an asynchronous generator her connected to a 3 phase electric system. a) What does asychronous mean in this context b) How is it possible to improve the operation of this generator on the system
1. Compare a script tool such as Matlab to a block tool like Simulink and how you can use them efficiently. 2. Convert the designed prototype filter to highpass filter with cutoff frequency f_C=10,000 Hz.
1) A 1.5H inductor has a constant current of 2.5A. a) find the energy that it holds b) what is its voltage c) what is its energy after its current drops to zero and stays zero What power is dissipated when a 20 olhm resistor is connected to it
From the equation for intermediate frequencies, what is thephase angle between the current and electric fieldwhen ωτ = 1, 0.1, and 10. For each case, write an expression for the time dependence of current if the electric fieldvaries as sin(ωτ).
First as the output stage use a Zener shunt regulator and then replace the Zener shunt regulator with an appropriate IC voltage regulator. Do the SPICE simulation of the whole circuit, which has the Zener shunt regulator as the last stage.
Calculate the maximum power that can be sent through an a=2cm , b=1cm air-filled waveguide at 12GHz such that dielectric breakdown does not occur. Assume that the dielectric strength of air at atmospheric pressure is 3x10^6 [V/m]
