14. Standing on viewpoint of the consultant's career, to be quiet and pretend nothing happened is the best way to deal with this event.

15. If the consultant has any altercations with the engineer, this will only delay his project time and will reflect poorly on him causing him to stress and not focus.

16. Since the consultant is assessing the quality of research, one could argue that he serves as a supervisor to these engineers and their interns only for these four months.

17. Keeping quiet also has its downsides too such as the consultant feeling terrible about hiding it because it is morally and ethically wrong.

18. The consultant has to take into consideration what would be the advantages and disadvantages of revealing the details to the management.

19. The exposure that the consultant has given to the engineer would only make the engineer a better worker since it would show her that everybody makes errors and that errors should not define her.

20. The consultant is trapped between making the moral decision of exposing the engineer so the intern can get full credit for this work or remain silent in order not to lose the trust of the engineers.

21. His other issue, the breach of ethics by not exposing the engineer, has negative impacts that go beyond a violation of his moral code.
