Laws enforced of EEOC prohibits employers from making any employment policies that make a negative impact upon candidates on the basis of race, religion, gender and age among many other factors. Though, it does not talk about the educational qualification requirement of the job. But, a test conducted for the job profile must be in accordance with the job requirements as the law states. Thus, employer posting the educational qualification of high school diploma for the given job profile, must justify the same and prove that no any law is violated. In a scenario of improper justification, it will be considered as a discriminatory practice.
