Question: Based on my observations of the infant and toddler room at the Learning Center, assessments happen on an ongoing basis, with official assessments taking place twice a year. The instructor monitors and documents the children's growth, employing various methods such as questionnaires and tests to measure their abilities in many areas like thinking, playing with others, moving around, and talking. The collected information is then used to come up with a plan for each child, outlining specific areas where they need to improve. I believe that the Learning Center's assessment procedure is successful in meeting each child's specific needs. The teachers adapt their teaching methods accordingly, ensuring that every child receives personalized attention. the center maintains close communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the decision-making process. While there is always room for improvement, I think the center could benefit from incorporating more technology, such as apps to enhance parental engagement.
