Develop a paper on any of the main themes of the course (IT project and change management). The themes for the course include "Project, Program and Portfolio Selection", "Initiating and Planning Projects", "Executing Projects", "Managing Project Risk", "Implementation, Outsourcing, International", "Agile Project Management", "Change Management and Project Leadership".

The project has to be in a written report (8-10 pages single-spaced). Basically you are either doing a project plan for an upcoming project OR review an ongoing project For A BOAT BUILDING COMPANY in South Florida (U.S.A). The project can be fictitious but it should be realistic and feasible.

Here are some more details about what the FINAL paper should contain (A) Industry background (B) Basic business case for the project : why this project, what is it hoping to accomplish for the organization (C) A Project plan in Microsoft Project 2010 : min. with resources leveled for new project, use existing or create a new/revised plan for ongoing project with resources (D) Project Risk: expected risk for new project, risk impacts and future risks in ongoing project (E) Contingency plans: contingency for new projects, what were the contingencies and what should they have been (F) Conclusion

No need to repeat the project details that are in the Project 2010 file. Submit both Word and Project 2010 files for the FINAL report. Please make sure that risk management is addressed. Also, you want to conclude with lessons that are general for all projects and methodologies. Please ensure that some IT system issues/ related issues are also discussed (as appropriate).
