For profit and not for profit organizations although most likely have the same goals (to increase revenue), how they go about reaching this goal is very different. In one hand we have the for profit organizations which are heavily driven by what the board of directors and owners want. This means that there may be times where they may turn a blind eye to questionable actions. Then you have the non-profits who want to generate revenue so that they can continue to do their work - this said, they need to be careful as to how they are viewed in the community and how they operate. A mistake in the non-profit sector can cause not only damage internally, but also damage those who they help.
