Your professional and personal reflection should focus on three sections: Professional Development Plan, Application of Kinesiology Theory and Skills, and Impact of Faith on Professional Service. Content in each of these sections should be thoughtful, specific and well-developed. Your writing should reflect thinking that is representative of a 400-level, culminating course.

Professional Development Plan

This section should detail your professional development throughout the course, including: 1) how the career center helped to focus your professional development plan, 2) ways your practicum hours impacted your decision making related to career choice and development, and 3) an analysis of the next steps needed for transition into your vocation.

Application of Theory and Skills

This section should discuss specific ways that you applied theoretical and practical content learned from your coursework within your practicum setting. A second section should discuss both your current strengths as well as needed improvement in applying theory and skills. Also, please include a brief discussion of your plan to improve in these areas.

Impact of Faith

This section of your paper involves reflection on how your personal response to the Christian gospel impacts your professional development, career preparation, and service to others in a specific setting. In-class discussion will provide topics for you to consider. This section should be a thoughtful reflection of your spiritual thinking and growth throughout the semester.
