Two machines produce the same item. Machine A can produce 15 items per/hr and Machine B can produce 10/hr. At least 420 of the items must be produced each 40-hr. week, but the machines cannot be operated at the same time. If it costs $50 per hour to operate A and $30 per hour to operate B, determine how many hours per week to operate each machine to meet the production requirement at minimum machine cost.

Does the moving observer see it as a right triangle : Consider a right triangle with sides of length x and y, a hypotenuse of length r, and an interior angle theta, such that tan(theta) = y/x. To an observer moving parallel to side x with speed v, the triangle has sides of length x' and y', a hypoten..
What is the potential energy of a 3.2 nc charge placed at x : A long wire having a linear charge density of 116 nC/m lies parallel to the y axis and intersects the x axis at 2m.
What is the total travel time of the pulse as measured : A light pulse emitted by the rocket travels toward the mirror and is reflected back to the rocket. The front of the rocket is a distance 1.88 10 ^12 m from the mirror (as measured by observers in S) at the moment the light pulse leaves the rocket...
Prepare a perpetual inventory record using fifo inventory : Prepare a perpetual inventory record, using the FIFO inventory costing method, and determine the company's cost of goods sold, ending merchandise inventory, and gross profit.
Production requirement at minimum machine cost : If it costs $50 per hour to operate A and $30 per hour to operate B, determine how many hours per week to operate each machine to meet the production requirement at minimum machine cost.
Calculate the capacitance of the coaxial cable arrangement. : The electric field outside a uniformly charged, infinite cylindrical conductor is the same as if the cylinder's charge were concentrated in a thin wire along the cylinders axis. Moreover, the potential inside a uniformly charged infinite cylindric..
Describe the process used at each stage : For each production stage, list input materials such as raw materials or output from previous stages, and output materials such as products, byproducts, wastes, or pollutants. Describe the process used at each stage and identify the least sustaina..
Find the change in the y direction of the proton. : A proton enters a region where the electric field has a magnitude of 500 N/C and is produced by two charged plates. The length of the plates is .200M. The initial velocity is 3X10^6 m/s in the postive x direction.
Arrange things so that the plates can be separated : Imagine that you would like to design a parallel plate capacitor that could store 1 J of electrical energy in the electric field between its plates when connected to a 1.5 V battery
