WRITE DOWN THE REFLECTION FOR THE PASSAGE WRITTEN BELOW

Farmers play a vital role in our community. They play a crucial role by providing jobs, producing healthy foods, and boosting our economy through exports. This is why as a coffee shop owner, it is important to give back and support our local farmers by purchasing supplies directly through them, promoting their products either to our family and friends or through social media, and increasing their profit.

Explanation:

All of us eat food every day. Literally, two to three times a day. If we trace back the origin of our ingredients, it is safe to say that most of them came from the farm which was planted and harvested by farmers. In a sense, we owe it to them.

As a coffee shop owner, I cannot thank our farmers enough for all their hard work and dedication. This is why I am taking this initiative to connect my business with their locally produced foods, involve my employees in reach-out activities, and collaborate with other local businesses.

We can put our vision into action when everyone will actively participate. This is why I will conduct reach-out activities involving my employees by volunteering in the local farmer's market, offering to deliver their products, and assisting in expanding the word about their products. Now in the age of digitization, social media is a great medium for sharing our ideas for wide dissemination. In my coffee shop's Instagram or Facebook pages, I can post their products and let my employees like and share them which their friends will eventually see. The more interactions, the more people will know about our farmers' products. If used properly, the Internet can be a helpful tool.

This is an opportune time to collaborate with businesses - both local and big companies. The more the merrier, they say. With local businesses, we can boost community awareness and entice people to appreciate their own. On the other hand, big companies have a wide network of connections and consumers. The more people we reach, the greater the appreciation and sales for our farmers. Additionally, it will be a good marketing strategy to promote healthy food options that are not riddled with preservatives. Given this, Starbucks is an ideal company I would want to collaborate with.

After all of these, we must not also forget the impacts of our efforts to help our farmers - if we are to continue or revise such strategies. A good indicator that we were able to fully help them is the increase in demand for our products. As a result, we can continue purchasing goods directly which will also turn for more profit for the farmers. Another point, we can also measure if it attracted more investors. The more investors, the more chance for local or foreign exports. Finally, we can monitor if there is an increase in the sense of deep appreciation of buying local goods, supporting local businesses, and urging one's self to eat more healthily.

A simple help can go a long way. It could be as simple as sharing the word through social media or by informing our families and friends about it. At the end of the day, everyone will be able to benefit from this - we get to eat healthy food, support our local farmers, and most of all boost our economy's performance.
