A gunshot produces a 150 dB sound as measuered 1 m from the source. Treat this source as a point source. The explosion producing the sound lasted a total of 5 ms. The 12 g bullet is given a velocity of 490 m/s by the explosion that produced the sound. Find the ratio of the energy that went into sound to the kinetic energy given to the bullet. Ignore that the bullet broke the sound barrier, producing a sonic boom as well.
