Suppose you areconsulting for an existing (real)B2B companyand your job is to prepare an inbound market strategy to increase customer leads.
Step 1: Think about and choosethe business you are representing and state which business(es) you are selling to, then create and describe a target persona.
1. Target Persona: Describe this in your report.
Now suppose you are now effectively attracting as many leads as possible to your website that have the same profile as your target persona. Your job now is to draw them into your funnel.
Step 2: In your strategy proposal, describe all of the below-listed inbound marketing strategies to ensure your website pulls in your intended target audience:
2. Propose a survey for current customers and leads. Include a list of questions that make sense to ask this target persona.
3. Imagine that you have completed that survey and/or previous customer interviews. Imagine the results you would have received. What insights have you drawn from their answers that you will nowshare with your target audience. Will they be interested in these findings? How will you display this?
4. Produce incredible content so the text vocabulary you use is relevant to your target persona and their target industry
5. Include other forms of media in your content (images, charts, graphs, videos or other interactive sources)
6. Include stories as part of your content, in a conversational way (customer testimonials/quotes + case studies)
7. Provide or create a free industry report to drive leads to sign up. Does one exist for this industry or would you propose developing one?
8. Host a webinar; provide all details and take enrolment.
