Procurement Management Plan:
A project management plan should include a description of how the remaining procurement processes will be managed, including:
1. Description of the contract type
2. Determination if independent estimates will be needed as evaluation criteria and who will prepare the estimates and define the due dates.
3. Are there any actions that the project management team can take on its own to prepare for a successful procurement? That is, are there any special considerations that the project team must consider? You want to set some ground rules for what you want to allow your team to do.
4. What standardized procurement documents will be needed and where they are located.
5. Will multiple suppliers be used and how will multiply providers be managed?
6. Will the procurement need to be coordinated with other business aspect such as scheduling and performance reporting?
7. Define any tasks that are unique to the product/service or contract type you selected.
