A closed system consisting of 1 lb of a gas undergoes a process during which the relation between pressure and volume is pV^n = constant. The process begins with p1=20 lbf/in^2, V1=10ft^3 and ends with p2=100 lbf/in^2.

Determine the final volume, in ft^3, for each of the following values of the constant n: 1,1.2, 1.3, and 1.4.

Plot each of the processes on a graph of pressure versus volume.
