Question: Introduction: On planet Earth, more than 70% of it is covered by oceans! They are excellent resources for food, mineral resources, and of course, fun in the sun! But they also control the weather as well as climate. The oceans are considered by scientists to be the lungs of the planet! There is a constant exchange between the ocean surface and the atmosphere. The oceans are dynamic with large scale circulation, interaction with the coastlines, and the types of weather we might find, such as hurricanes. Yet, each ocean, or sea, or gulf, or bay have distinctive differences in water temperature, cause of their existence, economic resources, and life forms. Unfortunately, there are also a number of problems caused by humans along the way.
