(The Answer should be 400 to 600 words.)

A large portion of the Internet is interactive and dynamic. From corporate e-commerce to an individual's blog Web site, users can post reviews, provide feedback, play games and do a myriad more. In order to perform many of these dynamic functions, a common scripting language used is JavaScript. You might also notice that each of these examples are frequently seen across different Web pages and usually function in the same relative manner. Even the games often utilise similar gameplay mechanics. For these common features, programmers typically visit a 'JavaScript library' that provides pre-written JavaScript code that performs common Web features.

As you can imagine, using this pre-written code saves programmers an enormous amount of time, as they no longer have to construct the code by hand. Some examples of libraries enjoyed by the JavaScript community are JQuery, Angular.JS and Node.js. Within each library, you can find different types of code snippets (APIs) usable in different scenarios.

In this Discussion, explore one of these JavaScript libraries and analyse its purpose(s), evaluating situations where the library is most useful.

Create an initial post in which you analyse a JavaScript library of your choosing. In your analysis, explain the purpose of the library. Additionally, evaluate a situation in which your selected library is used based on its usefulness. Describe the API that the library provides to fulfil its intended purpose. Also, provide links to your selected JavaScript library for your colleagues to visit.
