Topic: A Current Issue / Problem in the Finance Industry in Australia - the specific topic will be provided in class
Task Details: Students need to research all aspects of the topic from the viewpoint of various stakeholders - as a minimum this should include the financial institution, its customers and Government(s). Students need to develop their analysis and findings, with conclusions as to the probable future relating to the problem/issue, into a professionally presented, 2000 + 10% word essay.
Research Requirements: students need to support their analysis with references from the text (Financial Markets, Institutions and Money 3rd Edition by Kidwell | Brimble | Lenten) and a minimum of 4 suitable, reliable, current and academically acceptable sources - students need to demonstrate an awareness of the validity of their sources in their analysis or use of the sources.
