Global warming is a problem. Most of the solutions available today are based on reducing carbon output or capturing carbon from the atmosphere. These solutions may be too little, too late - we need ideas on a larger scale. For the sake of this question, assume that global carbon emissions will not be reduced. Give us two original ideas to solve the global warming problem that do not involve carbon. Provide sufficient justification as to why these solutions could have the scale needed to make a difference.
