The goal of this assignment is to document your community's existing resources to incorporate these assets and strengths in community practice. The process of asset mapping is to identify various elements of your neighbourhood that serve as positive resources. Please be specific in your responses and focus on your own geographic neighbourhood in this asset mapping process and critically reflect on the questions that follow.

1. Name the community where you currently reside: Scarborough (Ontario) Community

2. List the name and address of your local Member of Parliament or Member of Provincial Parliament

3. Please learn more about your neighbourhood. Take a walk in your neighbourhood, learn what'sthere, research and list the unique community assets in your own area in each of the categories.

Please share examples of two unique community events or forums or initiatives that took place this year in your local area that has connected diverse community members during the pandemic.
